Government Job through SSC

SSC or Staff Selection Commission in India is a Government undertaking organization which holds various examination to recruit staff for various posts in the various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and Subordinate Offices. Staff Selection Commission has its headquarters located in New Delhi. At present, it has seven Regional offices at Prayagraj, Mumbai, Kolkata, Guwahati, Chennai, Bangalore, and New Delhi. It also has two Sub- Regional offices at Raipur and Chandigarh. SSC exam is one of the most awaited entrance examinations that are looked forward to by the aspirants from multiple academic disciplines. Every year SSC conducts various numbers of examinations to select competent profiles candidates for various job engagements.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has a regional set-up to conduct the exams smoothly. Right now it has a total of seven regional offices at Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Allahabad, Guwahati, Bangalore with two sub-regional offices in Raipur and Chandigarh.

SSC conducts recruitment for the Group “B” posts in the Ministries/ Departments of the Govt. of India and their subordinate offices and all non-technical Group “C” posts in the Ministries or Departments of Govt. of India and their subordinate offices as well as departmental exams related to promotion from a lower division to upper divisions.

To conduct examinations and/or interviews, whenever required for recruitment to the posts within its purview. The examinations would be held as far as possible at different centers and successful candidates posted, to the extent possible, to their home State/Region.

SSC recruits various posts through their examination. The exam for each recruitment has a different pattern. But most of the recruitment has two-stage of written examination, one is the Multiple Choice question and the other descriptive type. For the defense category post like GD constable & SI, Physical efficiency test and Medical test will be included. On the other hand, candidates who willing to get Office Assistant, Stenographer, MTS, DEO, etc must possess the Skill test which will be conducted only for them.

The aspirant must possess all the examination stages separately to clear the whole selection process to get a recruit. above all, an interview session and document verification also added as the last or final stage. All examination conduct by SSC individually by the regional department.
